Humble Community

I have been so blessed this week by interaction with my church family. Today I was reading in "How People Change" and I love the way that Tripp and Lane described the Church.

"Humble community is not the icing on the cake of the Christian life. In a real way, it is the cake. Relationships of love are a means of personal growth, a mark of God's people being purified, and a clear argument to the world for the truth of the gospel."

I love how God uses relationships in our lives and how He designed us to function best in relationships. This week He has brought me sweet fellowship with family and friends - using all of it to grow and change me to become more like Him. It's amazing that as a result of our relationships, the truth of the gospel can be displayed to the world. Awesome.

We've been quite busy over the past few weeks and I haven't made time to blog. It's not because I haven't wanted to, that's for sure. God is still at work here at the Noll house. The 3 boys are still making me scramble, and my hubby is still such a blessing to me. Actually, 2 weeks ago he came home early from work to rescue me from a whole lot of naughtiness. Then, last week, he made me go to bed early while he did the laundry. Sigh. Have I mentioned I love my husband? :) We are still loving our church ministry here in Norwalk and are actively looking for a full time position. We trust God will provide just the right one in His timing. He is a good God.

Random - my newest challenge with the boys is meal time. Camden is now eating solids. I did not realize what a challenge it would be to feed 3 boys that are 2 and under - 2 of which need to be spoon-fed. What fun we have at breakfast and lunch. I will just be extra prepared whenever God decides to bless us with our #3. :)

Here are a couple of recent pictures . . .

A new favorite activity. Making a tent with Daddy and watching Man v. Wild while under the tent. A variation on this which Kendrick LOVES is when all the boys watch without their shirts on. (Just like Bear.)

Camden and Mommy. He is getting so big! He now has his 2 bottom teeth. He rolls his way around our apartment and is just itching to crawl. It won't be long now.

Hahahaha, watching Bear without their shirts on, how masculine. I love hearing stories about all of your growth--motherly,wife-ly (?) and spiritually. Thanks for sharing!
