The Only Thing Ronnie Freeman

I was so humbled by the responses I received from the last few blogs I've written. God is so good. I'm just praising Him that He can use my sanctification struggles to encourage others. This is what being a believer is all about. We can't go it alone. Proverbs 18:1 says, "A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire; he rages against all wise judgment." All too often I am tempted to refrain from transparency in order to keep a "christian" facade in place. God says this is pure foolishness. He created us to change and grow within a community of believers - in our families, in our local churches, and in the universal church. I'm praising God for this today!

As my husband and I were reading through some comments, this song by Ronnie Freeman came to mind. Maybe some of you are familiar with it. I love it - "The Only Thing"

The only thing that's good in me is Jesus.
